She has also worked as a freelance editor for private individuals, editing a good number of manuscripts (poetry, fiction, autobiography, theses) that went on to be published. In addition, she has ghostwritten a short story and part of a novel. Susan has been a poet since early childhood. Her poems have been published in over 100 magazines and journals and she has won several prestigious awards for her work.
